Shimano Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Crank

In this day of electronic shifting, power meters and Bluetooth, there is something beautifully simple about a track bike. The clean lines of an uncluttered frame will only be enhanced by the pristine appearance of the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Crank.

The Hollowtech forged aluminum crank arm has been designed to be light while still guaranteeing the type of durability and reliability needed to win Olympic medals. And the highly polished anodized finish gives the crank a classic, clean look that suits the entire track groupset. The FC-7710 has a bolt circle diameter of 144mm. The crank does not come with chain rings, but it is designed to accommodate the Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Chain rings, which range in teeth options from 47T to 54T. The Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Crank comes in arm lengths starting at 165mm and going up in 2.5mm steps to 175mm (167.5, 170, 172.5 and 175mm). So whatever your height, you should be able to find the length that suits you.

The Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Crank is only to be used with the Octalink Shimano Dura-Ace BB-7710 Track Bottom Bracket. Shimano has developed the two parts together, and designed them to withstand the sorts of power output that comes with serious track racing. The splined ends of the bottom bracket contribute to a more rigid interface with the crank, resulting in an extremely durable and flex-resistant unit.

The Shimano Dura-Ace FC-7710 Track Crank weighs, depending on crank arm length, around 505 grams, without chain rings. The pedal thread is 9/16” x 20 TPI. Once you decide to go full-throttle on the track, this will be the only crank you’ll want to consider.
